The central hour and minute hands are Breguet “apple” shaped and flame-blued, providing a striking contrast of the legible hands against the white grand feu enamel dial. The small seconds is placed off-center between 5 and 6 o’clock, occupying its own recessed space on the grand feu enamel dial, adding to its complexity.

The back of the gold case features a sapphire crystal with a clear view of the automatic manufacture movement within. Lavishly decorated, the bridges of the in-house automatic calibre are finished with côtes de Genève or Geneva stripes, while the central gold rotor of the automatic movement is given a radiant guilloche engraved surface. On the more technical side, the movement is fitted with the Breguet inverted straight-line escapement lever, and the balance spring is made of flat silicon, beating at a frequency of 3 Hz. The use of silicon in such a classic watch demonstrates how Breguet seeks to manufacture watches with the precision that will endure through time. When fully found, the calibre provides a power reserve of 45 hours.
