New year, new partner. We've been talking to Armin Strom for some time now. Based in Biel, the brand seduced us with its creativity, its renewed approach to chronometry - in addition to being 100% independent, another factor that charmed us.

For its Parisian debut, we chose three collections that seem to us to cover the essence of Armin Strom's DNA. Firstly, the Pure Skeleton. It gives pride of place to the art that propelled Mr Armin Strom to his position as a reference in watch decoration: skeletoning.

The Skeleton Pure is a tribute, a testimony to the art of the void as Armin Strom laid the foundations for it decades ago, long before it became fashionable. Skeleton Pure is the skeleton in its purest, essential, artistic expression - a veritable decorative complication that reveals the intimacy of a manufactory movement. 

Secondly, the Pure Resonance could not be missed. This is the concept that elevated Armin Strom to the rank of the most creative brands of the moment: one watch, one movement, two balances in resonance with each other. The ARF16 caliber displays its resonant regulators and the resonance clutch spring. It's beautiful, it's unique, it's technical, it's everything you love. 

Finally, we fell for the Gravity Equal Force. That's the new thing. A piece with an uncanny symmetry, a unique balance. The cylinder is at the head of the movement. The balance is fed by a more constant force, a micro-rotor ensuring a power reserve of three full days, still according to a 100% manufacture design...but at a very studied price.
