A piece sculpted in light, where the whirlwind seems weightless. Angelus has created a bold, contemporary vision of fine watchmaking.

Description

Flying swirl suspended in a titanium and light setting

Angelus unveils a new contemporary interpretation of fine watchmaking with the Flying Tourbillon Titanium – Blue Edition. This striking model embodies a dynamic vision where openwork, lightness and architectural depth interact within an avant-garde case, combining titanium and carbon composite.

At the heart of this 42.5 mm watch, Angelus has installed the A-310 caliber, a hand-wound movement entirely redesigned around a flying tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock. This precision mechanism is enhanced by an open construction and a play of layers that allow light to circulate freely between the blue PVD-treated bridges and the sapphire crystal.

Technical design and aesthetic tension

The Flying Tourbillon Titanium is based on an original modular structure: an ultra-light carbon composite container encases the movement, while six titanium elements form an angular, openwork caseband. The latter extends to a crown engraved with the Angelus logo, extended by a bezel notched with twelve sides and faceted lugs housing an interchangeable strap system.

For this inaugural edition, Angelus offers two straps: a matte blue alligator leather and a textured blue rubber, emphasizing the sporty and refined character of the piece.

A moving dial

Visually, dynamics are omnipresent. The large Arabic numerals literally float between the flange and the movement bridges, as if suspended, enhanced with white Super-LumiNova for optimal readability. Depth is accentuated by the superposition of levels, the openings of the caliber and the interweaving of concentric circles – a strong signature of Angelus design.

The wheels with three openworked arms, the brand’s trademark, create a fluid sequence towards the flying tourbillon, whose 160° asymmetrical bridge injects a powerful visual rhythm into the whole.

The new caliber A-310: power and balance

An evolution of the A-300 caliber, the A-310 illustrates Angelus’ watchmaking expertise with a lighter and more open construction, favoring both performance and aesthetics. Its layout is based on a circular geometry: the small seconds at 9 o’clock, the barrel between 12 and 1 o’clock, and the tourbillon at 6 o’clock form a triangle of balance structuring the dial.

With a power reserve of 60 hours, this engine ensures constant precision, housed in a watch in which every detail is designed to reflect Angelus’ contemporary vision.
