Bulgari Octo Finissimo 37 mm: The Icon Takes on New Proportions

The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic 37 mm reinterprets one of the most iconic watches in contemporary watchmaking with exceptionally balanced proportions. Entirely crafted from satin-finished titanium, this new model 104351 combines the collection’s signature slim profile with a modest 37-mm diameter.

At just 6.45 mm thick, its octagonal case retains all the architectural strength that has made the Octo Finissimo a true Bulgari signature.

The Octo Finissimo in a 37 mm size

Since its debut, the Octo Finissimo has established an instantly recognizable aesthetic, built around a succession of geometric shapes, facets, and extremely slim profiles.

In this version, Bulgari features a 37 mm satin-finished titanium case, paired with an integrated bracelet crafted from the same material. Titanium lends the watch its characteristic lightness while enhancing its monochromatic and contemporary look.

The opaline titanium dial extends this aesthetic. The rhodium-plated hands and hour markers provide just the right amount of contrast, while the off-center small seconds sub-dial discreetly animates the composition.

An ultra-thin automatic movement measuring 2.35 mm

At the heart of the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic 37 mm lies the BVF 100 Finissimo in-house caliber, a mechanical automatic movement just 2.35 mm thick.

Its ultra-thin architecture relies in particular on the use of a platinum micro-rotor, which reduces the movement’s thickness while ensuring automatic winding.

The caliber operates at a frequency of 3 Hz—or 21,600 vibrations per hour—and delivers a generous 72-hour power reserve. It displays the hours, minutes, and small seconds.

Visible through the transparent case back, the movement features traditional watchmaking finishes, notably hand-finished sunburst Côtes de Genève, as well as beveled and pearl-finished surfaces.

Titanium, Slimness, and Architecture

The 104351 model embodies the defining elements of the Octo Finissimo: a radically slim construction, an architectural design, and the use of titanium, which gives the watch a presence quite distinct from that of a traditional steel watch.

The screw-down titanium crown incorporates a black ceramic insert, while the satin-finished titanium bracelet flows seamlessly into the case and fastens with an integrated folding clasp with pushers.
