This Repetition Minutes in 750/1000 3N yellow gold, produced in a very limited edition, pays tribute to the most poetic complication in watchmaking — the one that transforms time into music.
Conceived as an acoustic sculpture, this creation features a new 40 mm cushion-shaped case, developed to enhance sound propagation. At just 9.6 mm thick, the watch breathes, vibrates, and resonates. The thin walls, lightweight sapphire crystal, and internal construction tailored for acoustics: everything has been designed to amplify the clarity of the chime.
At the heart of the timepiece beats the GG-002 caliber, a hand-wound manufacture movement. It takes more than four weeks of assembly to bring the chime to life. The hammers and gongs, polished and tuned by hand, offer a crystal-clear, luminous sound, perfectly calibrated for the wrist. A minute repeater that not only chimes, but moves you.
The hypnotic, pure deep black onyx dial expresses the aesthetic DNA of Gérald Genta.
