With the Legacy Machine No. 1 EVO 5N+ Rose Gold, MB&F offers a particularly refined interpretation of its first Legacy Machine, fifteen years after its debut. Produced in a limited edition of just 33 pieces, this creation combines the richness of rose gold with a three-dimensional mechanical architecture that remains one of the manufacture’s most recognizable signatures.
The 42-mm case in 5N+ rose gold frames a spectacular dark green dial-plate, whose depth contrasts with the two black hour dials. The rose gold accents visually extend the warm tones of the case and highlight the reliefs of this unique horological construction.
At the center of the composition, an imposing 14-mm balance wheel appears to float above the movement, supported by a titanium bridge. Its constant oscillation transforms the reading of time into a true mechanical spectacle.
The Legacy Machine No. 1 EVO retains its signature complication: two completely independent time displays, allowing the hours and minutes to be set separately. This freedom of adjustment offers a particularly elegant solution for tracking two time zones, even when the time difference is not expressed in whole hours.
The hand-wound mechanical movement, developed with Jean-François Mojon and benefiting from Kari Voutilainen’s aesthetic expertise, comprises 270 meticulously assembled and decorated components. Its Straumann double hairspring contributes to the precision of the regulating organ, while the power reserve now reaches 60 hours.
Despite its luxurious case, this edition retains the functional qualities of the EVO family. The FlexRing system protects the movement from shocks, the screw-down crowns ensure water resistance to 80 meters, and the interchangeable rubber strap offers comfort and versatility.
Limited to 33 pieces, the MB&F LM1 EVO 5N+ Rose Gold asserts a distinct personality, blending classic haute horlogerie, contemporary aesthetics, and mechanical innovation.
