A direct descendant of the legendary 1976 Digitrend, this limited edition of just 150 pieces pushes the original concept even further by combining retro-futuristic design, mechanical innovation, and cutting-edge materials.
With its instantly recognizable architecture, the Digitrend OSII Black celebrates a vision of the future that has never ceased to fascinate enthusiasts of industrial design and independent watchmaking. Its mechanical digital display with jumping hour—AMIDA’s historic signature—is reimagined here in a version entirely redesigned for the 21st century.

The major innovation in this version lies in its spectacular sapphire crystal top cover. Machined from a single block, it replaces the traditional metal case and reveals the watch’s entire internal architecture. This unprecedented transparency allows light to reach the heart of the movement while offering an immersive view of its construction.

To complement this evolution, AMIDA has developed a new internal structure made of black-coated 316L steel, integrated directly into the architecture of the jumping hour module. Far from being a mere technical component, this construction plays a key role in the watch’s visual identity and transforms its functional components into true design elements.

The Digitrend OSII Black is also the first AMIDA model to feature a fully luminescent display. Thanks to the light passing through the sapphire crystal, the hour markers treated with Super-LumiNova® BGW9 offer optimal readability in the dark. Once night falls, the watch reveals a new visual personality, extending its futuristic aesthetic into the darkness.
