Arnold & Son x Chronopassion : Double Tourbillon Jaspe , pièce unique
This piece is a four-handed journey between Arnold & Son and Chronopassion. A duel of elegance and precision, where jasper becomes the playground for two tourbillons. Rare, precious, unconventional: exactly what we love to create.

Arnold & Son x Chronopassion — Double Tourbillon “Landscape”: time reflected in mirror image
This is the story of a dialogue. A conversation between two demanding worlds, driven by precision, daring and an obsession with detail. Between Chronopassion, a watchmaker since 1988, and Arnold & Son, the guardian of British-inspired technical elegance. Together, they have created a unique piece, a rare and spectacular timepiece: the Double Tourbillon “Landscape,” a stylistic exercise that is as mechanical as it is mineral.
The reflection of a shared vision
Two tourbillons back to back, suspended in space by mirror-polished gold bridges. Two symmetrical white opal dials, like two pages turned simultaneously in two different time zones. A 43.5 mm white gold case, sculpted to capture the light. And everywhere, the earthly breath of a “landscape” jasper carefully selected by Chronopassion, whose layers evoke desert reliefs or imaginary panoramas. The mineral dial becomes a painting, the beige alligator strap extends the chromatic harmony, and the whole offers a poetic reading of time. The Arnold & Son aesthetic is revealed in a new light, enhanced by Chronopassion’s non-conformist vision. A timepiece with two voices The Double Tourbillon “Landscape” is not just a beautiful visual exercise. Its heart beats for two independent time zones, adjustable to the minute – a rarity in the world of travel watches. At 12 o’clock, the local time is displayed in Roman numerals. At 6 o’clock, the reference time is displayed in Arabic numerals. Each dial is independent, with its own crown: at 2 o’clock for winding and setting, at 7 o’clock for the second time zone. This dual architecture pays tribute to John Arnold, a pioneer in marine chronometry who made it easier to calculate longitude with his precision watches. It is in this spirit that this piece perpetuates the idea of time that is mastered, used, shared – but never frozen.
High-flying mechanics
At the heart of this creation beats the A&S8513 caliber, entirely developed and decorated by hand by the Arnold & Son manufacture. It features two gear trains, two barrels for 90 hours of power reserve, and two tourbillons suspended on three-dimensional bridges in solid gold, chamfered, polished and satin-finished to perfection. Every finish – from the radiant Côtes de Genève to the circular graining, from the snailing of the barrels to the polishing of the chatons – is pushed to its ultimate expression. The oversized pawl that secures the tension of the barrels is a tribute to expressive mechanics, where the useful becomes ornamental.
Chronopassion inside
As a nod to the unique world of Chronopassion, this unique piece dares to contrast watchmaking rigor with mineral inspiration. The rare and unpredictable “landscape” jasper embodies a taste for the exceptional. It transforms this timepiece into a living sculpture, an intimate territory to be explored. The Double Tourbillon “Landscape” is not just a watch. It is an encounter between two houses driven by the same love of the unusual.
