Bulgari x Laurent Grasso Limited Edition: When Art and Nature Meet
ABOUT LAURENT GRASSO
Laurent Grasso is a French contemporary artist renowned for his creations that skilfully merge art, science and history. His works, using various media such as video, sculpture and installation, plunge the viewer into universes where time seems suspended. Inspired by natural and atmospheric phenomena, notably polar stratospheric clouds, Grasso invites us to reflect on our relationship with the environment and humanity’s ecological footprint, while captivating us with a striking aesthetic that challenges our perception of the visible world.
HIS WORK
Laurent Grasso’s creations go beyond visual contemplation: they embody a dialogue between the subtle beauty of nature and avant-garde artistic inventiveness. Grasso transcends the ethereal light and shimmering patterns of polar clouds into sensory experiences where the visual takes precedence, redefining our perception of time and space. Each work becomes an invitation to explore a world where ecological urgency is addressed with sublime aesthetics. Sophisticated and evocative, his creations are both objects of beauty and ecological awareness.
POLAR STRATOSPHERIC CLOUDS
Polar stratospheric clouds, also known as pearly clouds, are rare formations that appear in the polar stratosphere during winter, between 15,000 and 25,000 meters above sea level. Observable mainly at twilight in the polar regions, they offer a unique and bewitching iridescent spectacle.
