A gem of Spring Drive inspired by Omiwatari
Every winter, the water in Lake Suwa freezes over, revealing a long ridge in the ice crossing the lake. Tradition has it that this is the "Omiwatari" or the place where the gods walk on the ice.
True or not, the legend inspired the artisans at Shinshu Watch Studio to create an exquisitely subtle dial for this hand-wound Spring Drive watch. It has the color, feel and texture of the snowy ice of Lake Suwa.
The watch is equipped with the Spring Drive Calibre 9R31 whose double mainspring barrel offers a 72-hour power reserve. Its refined finishes are visible through the case back.
