"SBGA413: The timeless elegance of Japan, captured in every seasonal moment."

Shunbun Spring equinox
A classic Grand Seiko design with a dial capturing a key moment in the Japanese seasonal calendar.
The SBGA413 is a modern reinterpretation of the famous 62GS from 1967. The 62GS was not only Grand Seiko’s first watch with an automatic movement, it was also, along with the 44GS released the same year, the watch that first expressed the design grammar, the Grand Seiko style, that still shapes all Grand Seiko designs today. Like the 1967 62GS, this modern reinterpretation features sharp edges, flat surfaces that only Zaratsu polishing can create, and a wide dial opening achieved through bezel-less construction.
Observing the dial closely is like discovering the Hana-Ikada, after the spring equinox, Shunbun, when the cherry blossom petals scattered by the wind cover the surface of the river.
The textured dial and pale pink color capture the magic of this precious moment in the Japanese calendar, expressing the beauty of Sakura and the ephemeral nature of time.
The watch is powered by the Spring Drive 9R65 caliber, hand-assembled by the master craftsmen of the Shinshu Watch Studio.
