On the first day of Baselworld in 2015, Laurent Picciotto, Chronopassion, was in awe of the Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time Sapphire Skeleton from H. Moser & Cie. And bought it for the sum of 1 million Swiss francs. Then in 2019 we received another unique realization, a tourbillon in a sapphire case with a dial made of real sapphires, a double sapphire in a way.

This time we asked Moser & Cie to make a Venturer Tourbillon in a sapphire case but with a Vantablack® dial, a way to approach the ultimate purity from our point of view.

This masterpiece, combining a case entirely made of sapphire and a Vantablack® concept dial,  a masterpiece in its own right.

A unique piece.

This is the case of the Venturer collection that H. Moser & Cie. is offering for the third time in an all-sapphire version. The finishing of the left-hand shapes on the sides of the case, the slenderness of the bezel, the curvature of the dial and glass, the proportions evoking the convex shapes of the 1960s: everything is there, sublimated by the transparency of sapphire. This sapphire case enhances the beauty of the self-winding HMC804 caliber.

Framed by the Venturer’s extremely thin bezel, a sapphire flange without hour markers opens wide onto the dial  Vantablack® dial. The long, tapered hands are in white gold, reminiscent of the tourbillon’s main bridge, which opens like a smile on the cage. On the reverse side, the bidirectional rotor, in solid 22-carat red gold, is also engraved and openworked.
