Laurent's opinion
With the Streamliner 6201-1200, H. Moser & Co. has achieved a rare balance: a three-hand watch that is simple in appearance yet utterly sophisticated. The Matrix Green dial is a controlled visual shock, and the integrated steel bracelet, with its softness and tension, makes it instantly recognizable. It is a piece that speaks to purists without ever raising its voice.

Description

H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds 6201-1200 – The green icon of independent watch design

The Streamliner Centre Seconds 6201-1200 from H. Moser & Cie. embodies the essence of contemporary independent watchmaking: bold design, high-flying Swiss mechanics, and minimalist aesthetics of rare intensity. This steel model, featuring the famous Matrix Green smoked dial, has become an unmistakable signature of the Neuhausen am Rheinfall-based manufacturer.

A fluid design, sculpted in steel
The Streamliner 6201-1200 stands out with its 40 mm stainless steel cushion case, featuring harmonious lines and no lugs, ensuring exceptional ergonomics. Its integrated steel bracelet, of remarkable technical complexity, fits naturally on the wrist thanks to its articulated links, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces in a subtle wave pattern. The overall effect is one of visual fluidity and comfort that makes this watch one of the most recognizable in the watchmaking landscape.

Smoked Matrix Green dial: a vibrant and electrifying hue
At the heart of this model beats one of H. Moser & Cie.’s most iconic dials: the smoked Matrix Green, famous for its dynamic shades ranging from olive green to golden red, depending on the light. Vibrant and almost hypnotic, this dial is discreetly signed with the transparent lacquer logo, symbolizing the brand’s desire to let the pure beauty of its creations speak for themselves, without artifice.

The central hands – hours, minutes and seconds – are made in two parts, with an elegant curvature and inserts in Globolight®, a luminescent ceramic-based material incorporating Superluminova®, ensuring optimal readability even in low light conditions.

HMC 201 manufacture movement: open-heart mechanics
At the back, the transparent sapphire case back reveals the HMC 201 automatic caliber, entirely designed and manufactured by H. Moser & Cie. A refined evolution of the HMC 200, this movement features partially openworked bridges, revealing the central gear train and the bidirectional winding system. The openwork rotor allows a clear view of the mechanism while maintaining a power reserve of 3 days.

Streamliner 6201-1200 – A three-hand watch like you’ve never seen before
With its balanced proportions, pure design and exquisite finish, the Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green 6201-1200 is much more than a three-hand watch. It is the expression of demanding and uncompromising independent watchmaking, designed for those who recognize the exceptional.
