Laurent's opinion
A Moser of radical purity, where the meteorite evokes emotion and the craftsmanship fades completely into the background, leaving only the essence of the design.

An exceptional moon phase on a meteorite dial

With the Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite, H. Moser & Cie. explores a rare dimension of fine watchmaking: one where raw material from the cosmos meets mechanical precision.

The dial is crafted from a genuine Gibeon meteorite that fell in Namibia millions of years ago. Its natural crystalline structure reveals the famous Widmannstätten patterns, which cannot be artificially reproduced. Each piece is therefore unique. Moser enhances this material by applying its signature aesthetic: a golden hue combined with a smoky effect that adds depth, warmth, and legibility.

True to the brand’s minimalist approach, the dial is deliberately uncluttered: no logo, no hour markers, only the essentials. A radical vision that highlights the main complication: a perpetual moon phase of remarkable precision.

For the first time at Moser, this complication is integrated into an automatic movement. The in-house HMC 270 caliber offers intuitive readability and simplified adjustment thanks to a discreet pusher on the side of the case. Its precision is exceptional: a deviation of just one day after more than a thousand years.

The 40 mm Streamliner steel case, with its integrated bracelet, retains the fluidity characteristic of the collection. Alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces, natural ergonomics on the wrist, and a strong, instantly recognizable identity.

The moon, crafted in red gold, harmonizes with the hands of the same metal and subtly contrasts with the cool tones of the steel. The Globolight® inserts ensure perfect readability, even in low-light conditions.

This watch embodies a contemporary vision of fine watchmaking: technical, poetic, and radically minimalist. A timepiece designed for collectors who appreciate the essentials.
