Laurent's opinion
Two watches, no nonsense: one for attacking, the other for performing. That's what a true partnership is all about.

Description

H. Moser & Cie. x Alpine Motorsports: two Streamliners pushing the boundaries

When an independent watchmaker meets a Formula 1 and endurance racing team, the partnership cannot be limited to an exchange of logos. H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports have chosen the most demanding path: co-designing useful, precise measuring instruments designed for action. This collaboration has given rise to a unique duo: the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition—two watches, two uses, one avant-garde spirit.

Key points to remember

  • Genuine technical collaboration between H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports (2024–2025).
  • Two complementary creations: a skeletonized mechanical chronograph (Drivers) and a hybrid analog-digital tool designed for the needs of an F1 team (Mechanics).
  • Limited edition: exclusive box set sold in 200 pieces.
  • The connected model can also be purchased separately by owners of the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine (blue or pink livery, 2024 series).

Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition — the drivers’ chronograph

Designed with Alpine drivers in mind, the Drivers Edition encapsulates the racing DNA of Alpine and the haute horlogerie of Moser.

What makes it unique

  • Movement: skeletonized HMC 700 (AgenGraphe) caliber developed with AGENHOR, first skeletonized version.
  • Easy-to-read architecture: chronograph minutes and seconds in the center, without sub-counters for instant reading.
  • Flyback function: immediate reset and restart—because in F1, every second counts.
  • Design language inspired by the paddock:
    • two V-shaped bridges, a nod to the triangular suspensions of single-seaters;
    • central bridge evoking a driver’s helmet;
    • skeletonized rotor on the dial side reminiscent of an Alpine A110 wheel rim.
  • Alpine colors: blue and white, symbolizing the speed and identity of the team.

Spirit: a minimalist, easy-to-read driver’s watch, designed for action — on the track and in everyday life.

Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition—the teams’ professional tool

Performance is also won in the pits, down to the thousandth of a second. The Mechanics Edition was co-developed with Alpine engineers and mechanics as a true operational tool.

Functions designed for racing

  • Discreet black screen in standby mode, instant display upon activation.
  • Built-in modes:
    • GMT with country selector,
    • split-seconds chronograph,
    • perpetual calendar,
    • F1 mode: countdown to start + notifications of key moments in the season.
  • Watch component: analog time on a small domed Funky Blue smoked dial with H. Moser & Cie. logo in transparent lacquer.
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, compatible with Android® and iOS®, on-demand synchronization (works autonomously).
  • Endurance: up to one year in “time only” mode, up to six Grand Prix in connected mode.
  • Philosophy: robust, reliable, built to last — a departure from disposable standards.

Box set, limited edition, and terms of purchase

  • Exclusive box set: Drivers Edition + Mechanics Edition, 200 pieces only.
  • Separate purchase of the connected model: only available to owners of the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine (blue or pink, 2024 edition).

Collector’s interest: complementary duo combining high-end mechanical chronography and functional intelligencededicated to racing. A shared vision: useful, committed, and visionary watchmaking.

FAQ

How is this partnership different?

It is an engineering collaboration: the watches were co-developed with Alpine drivers, mechanics, and engineers to meet real-world use cases (immediate readability, operational timing, fluid communication).

What is the AgenGraphe?

It is an integrated chronograph architecture developed by AGENHOR; here, it powers the skeletonized HMC 700 caliber of the Drivers Edition for ultra-clear central reading.

Is the Mechanics Edition a connected watch?

It is a hybrid tool: autonomous for everyday use, synchronizable on demand (Bluetooth, Android®/iOS®) to activate GMT, split-seconds, perpetual calendar, and F1 mode.

How many pieces?

200 boxes. The Mechanics model can be purchased separately by owners of the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine 2024.
