Where art meets fine watchmaking

Kross Studio unveils a unique timepiece for Chronopassion Paris: the KS 06 Chronopassion watch
A journey, an inspiration, a creation.
Last summer, upon returning from the Indian Art Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico, an idea emerged: create a watch that captures the essence of this journey and the soul of Native American jewelry. Kross Studio was the ideal partner to bring this vision to life.
KS 06 Chronopassion: the expression of watchmaking exclusivity
This unique timepiece embodies exceptional craftsmanship. Every detail, from the meticulous choice of turquoise to the artisanal engraving of the silver bezel, reflects incomparable mastery. The KS 06 Chronopassion watch transcends the boundaries between mechanical precision and the art of watchmaking, redefining the standards of haute horlogerie.
Innovation and Tradition: a bold design
At the heart of this creation is the floating central tourbillon, an emblematic Kross Studio signature. Protected by an anti-reflective, anti-static sapphire crystal dome, the complex mechanism offers a spectacular view from every angle.
The grade 5 titanium case, 42 mm in diameter, boasts an exceptional hand-finish: satin-finished case middle, bevelled and polished lugs, and a finely-worked push-button for setting the time. The caseback, with its satin-brushed and polished central crown, bears witness to this attention to detail.
The KS 7’006 movement: a technical feat
The KS 06 Chronopassion watch is powered by the KS 7’006 floating central tourbillon movement, composed of 220 meticulously assembled and hand-decorated components. With an impressive 120-hour power reserve, this exceptional caliber guarantees optimal chronometric performance.
The elevated tourbillon, accompanied by its balance wheel and fixed seconds wheel, dominates the movement, creating a striking visual depth. The peripheral hour display, based on a planetary gear system, completely frees the view of the tourbillon.
Rhodium-plated hands, filled with white Superluminova®, ensure optimum legibility, even in the dark.
A unique timepiece, a history engraved in time
Every step in the process of creating the KS 06 Chronopassion – from the selection of the turquoise to the meticulous engraving of the silver – reflects incomparable precision and finesse. This bespoke watch is a symbol of Kross Studio’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
Available exclusively from Chronopassion Paris, the KS 06 is much more than a watch: it’s a mechanical work of art, a timeless testimony to exceptional craftsmanship.
Adorned with a turquoise stone dial and a finely engraved silver bezel, the KS 06 Chronopassion represents an original interpretation of the KS 06 central floating tourbillon watch unveiled in 2024.
Movement: KS 7’006 – Patented hand-wound central floating tourbillon

The KS 7’006 caliber
The floating central tourbillon, an iconic Kross Studio caliber, is perfectly integrated into this new case. The architecture of this hand-wound mechanical movement, made up of 220 components including 27 jewels, gives it exceptional performance.
Main functions such as winding, energy storage, regulation and display are concentric and co-axial in the center of the plate. The barrel, whose diameter is larger than the radius of the plate, gives the movement a 120-hour power reserve with chronometric performance.
The tourbillon, its balance wheel and its fixed seconds wheel are raised above the movement and hands, overhanging the barrel. A patented technical innovation, Kross Studio’s floating central tourbillon offers an unprecedented perspective on its complex mechanics.
Peripheral display
The innovation of the KS 7’006 movement also lies in the peripheral time display mechanism, created by a planetary gear system mounted on two ball bearings, freeing the tourbillon from any obstruction. The hands of the KS 06 are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova®.
A new winding system
Ingeniously centered on the case back, as in every Kross Studio watch, the crown is in direct engagement with the barrel.
To wind the movement and set the time, simply press a finger against the sapphire crystal while turning the crown. A system so easy to use, yet so complex to build. Kross Studio’s engineers had to devise a watertight system that would allow a mobile winding spindle to pass through the center of the back crystal, while leaving the movement as unobstructed as possible.
