Surrounded by his “Friends”—Serge Kriknoff, Eric Giroud, Charris Yadigaroglou, Didier Dumas, David Lamy, and many others—Max Büsser took on an unprecedented challenge: to create a women’s watch featuring a flying tourbillon, magnified by an integral setting of baguette diamonds.

A flying tourbillon designed for women: a true kinetic sculpture

The MB&F Legacy Machine FlyingT Tourbillon Baguette Diamonds is part of a trilogy comprising:

• a version with a black lacquered dial set with brilliant-cut diamonds,
• a model fully paved with brilliant-cut diamonds,
• and the full baguette version, the culmination of this creation.

This limited edition is distinguished by:

A unique vertical caliber, designed especially for FlyingT

To bring this three-dimensional architecture to life, MB&F developed a vertical in-house caliber, designed exclusively for this piece. Under the sapphire dome, the flying one-minute tourbillon stands like a ballerina in motion—an image dear to Max Büsser.

The automatic movement is distinguished by:

• a three-dimensional sunburst rotor,
• a construction combining 750/1000 5N+ gold, titanium, and platinum,
• a vertical organization allowing the tourbillon to rise above the plate,
• a counterweight under the tourbillon cage to ensure perfect rotation.

The case beautifully combines 750/1000 white gold, white or black lacquer, sapphire, and baguette settings, creating a spectacular contrast around the central tourbillon.

An intimate reading of time

The hour and minute display, positioned at 7 o’clock, embodies an intimate vision of time. The secondary dial in white lacquer uses elegant Roman numerals and serpentine hands, tilting towards the wearer as if to offer an exclusively personal reading.

On either side of the case, two crowns set with baguette diamonds ensure:

• one, the winding,
• the other, the time setting.

The meticulous setting of several hundred baguette diamonds on the case middle and dial lends a rare visual intensity. The highlight is a single diamond set at the top of the tourbillon cage.

A sunny aesthetic down to the smallest detail

On the back, the case back reveals a sculpted sun motif, echoing the three-dimensional rotor of the movement.

The watch is available with a calfskin or alligator leather strap, depending on the version, complemented by a 750/1000 white gold buckle also set with diamonds.
