Description

MB&F celebrates its 20th anniversary with an iconic Legacy Machine revisited: the LM101 EVO with a salmon dial.

Launched in 2014, the Legacy Machine 101 (LM101) has established itself as one of MB&F’s most iconic watches. With its 14 mm three-dimensional flying balance wheel, suspended subdials, and spectacular architecture by Kari Voutilainen, the LM101 quickly won over collectors and enthusiasts alike.

For its 20th anniversary in 2025, MB&F unveils the LM101 EVO, a sporty and contemporary evolution of this cult model. The salmon dial version, rare in the MB&F universe, attracts with its elegance and depth.

Achieved through a CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) treatment, this refined hue enhances the dial plate, which is an integral part of the movement. The two black subdials, delicately rimmed, provide a perfect contrast and highlight the hours, minutes, and power reserve indicator.

The LM101 EVO introduces several notable innovations:

  • Power reserve increased to 60 hours (compared to 45 hours on the classic LM101).
  • FlexRing shock protection system exclusive to MB&F, protecting the movement in all directions.
  • Water resistance to 80 meters, screw-down crown and integrated rubber strap, ensuring everyday robustness.
  • Ergonomic 40 mm titanium case, more comfortable and lightweight.
  • EVO design without bezel offering a clear view under the domed sapphire crystal.

The sapphire crystal glass box case back reveals a blackened movement with exquisite hand-finished details: undulating Côtes de Genève, polished bevels, blued screws, and gold chatons, in the pure tradition of fine watchmaking.

Mounted on a gray or white rubber strap, the MB&F LM101 EVO Salmon is produced in very limited quantities, confirming its status as a future collector’s item.

👉 A rare, elegant, and sporty watch: the EVO interpretation of the LM101 makes the salmon version a must-have timepiece for lovers of contemporary haute horlogerie.
