LM Sequential Flyback Platinum: Master Time, Achieve the Impossible.

Discover Horological Innovation
In 2022, MB&F pushed back the boundaries of watchmaking with the Legacy Machine Sequential EVO, a revolutionary double chronograph. Designed by watchmaking genius Stephen McDonnell, this model not only won the prestigious Aiguille d’Or award at the GPHG, but also redefined our perception of the chronograph thanks to major technical innovations and the “Twinverter” binary switch.
The Flyback Edition: A New Dimension
The Flyback Edition of the LM Sequential goes one step further. Incorporating the flyback function originally designed for pilots, this watch is no longer limited to the world of motor racing, but also ventures into the world of aviation. With its platinum case, white lacquered dials and leather strap, it perfectly embodies the classic elegance of the Legacy Machine.
Advanced features
The LM Sequential Flyback Platinum retains the configuration of the Sequential EVO with its two independent chronographs. Each chronograph can be started, stopped and reset independently. The flyback function allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted in a single action, simplifying complex operations.
The “Twinverter”, a unique fifth pusher positioned at 9 o’clock, adds a further dimension by enabling the start/stop status of both chronographs to be inverted simultaneously. This innovation offers a variety of timing modes:
Independent mode: Perfect for multiple tasks such as cooking different dishes or varied workouts.
Simultaneous or Rattrapante mode: Ideal for timing competitions between two competitors.
Cumulative mode: Useful for measuring the time spent on different tasks throughout the day.
Sequential mode (lap counter): Perfect for sports competitions, allowing successive laps to be timed.
Flyback mode: Essential for pilots, allowing precise timing of multi-stage journeys.
A Unique Movement
The LM Sequential’s movement, including two chronographs linked to a common escapement and oscillator, is a major innovation. Thanks to the internal girdling of the vertical clutches and the integration of special jewels, this movement reduces energy losses, offering superior energy performance and precision.
A History of Passion and Innovation
MB&F’s history is marked by exciting collaborations and bold innovations. Stephen McDonnell, a long-time friend of MB&F, played a crucial role in the creation of the Legacy Machine Perpetual and now the LM Sequential. Their collaboration continues to provide innovative answers to questions that few ask.
The LM Sequential Flyback Platinum is more than a watch, it’s a horological work of art that captures the essence of time and tells a story of passion, innovation and collaboration.
