With the Extra Flat Rose Gold Skeleton, Daniel Roth presents a unique and profoundly horological interpretation of one of its most iconic models. For the first time in the history of the Maison, the Extra Flat – the ultimate symbol of discreet refinement – is unveiled in a fully skeletonized version, revealing the structural beauty of its ultra-thin movement.

Faithful to the original architecture designed by Daniel Roth, the double ellipse case retains its timelessly elegant proportions. Crafted in 750/1000 5N rose gold, it frames a fully visible movement, conceived as a true watch-art object, where each bridge, each angle and each finish contributes to the visual balance of the whole.

At the heart of the watch beats the DR002SR caliber, a hand-wound movement designed and manufactured in-house by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. Derived from the DR002 caliber, it has been completely redesigned to accommodate the skeletonization without compromising rigidity, reliability, or chronometric performance. The mainplate and bridges are made of 18-carat 750/1000 solid rose gold, offering a warm contrast to the black polished steel components and highlighting the entirely hand-finished work.

Reentrant angles, black polishing, meticulous chamfering: the human touch is omnipresent, visible at every glance. Despite its extreme thinness, the caliber retains a power reserve of 65 hours and a frequency of 4 Hz, demonstrating that transparency does not exclude technical rigor or performance.
