Konstantin Chaykin Unveils the New Minions Titanium Watch: A Playful Fusion of Horological Innovation

The Russian watch manufacturer “Konstantin Chaykin” unveils its latest creation: the brand-new Minions Titanium model. This watch is offered in a limited series of just 99 pieces. It is part of the prestigious Wristmons collection, launched in 2017 with the striking release of the Joker watch, featuring an anthropomorphic dial in vivid, striking colors. This introduction marked the beginning of the “Monsters on the Wrist” collection, which now features over 25 models with varied designs and unique complications.

The famous Minions, whose dial is inspired by legendary cartoon characters, was unveiled at the Dubai Watch Week 2021 and was an instant success. This success inspired Konstantin Chaykin to propose an updated version, the Minions Titan, faithfully retaining the character’s emblematic features: a banana-yellow dial, a mouth serving as a moon phase indicator with its tiny teeth, and bezels that add a playful touch while covering the hour and minute indicators. This new iteration is distinguished by a titanium case and new finishes.

Titanium, both robust and lightweight, offers scratch resistance and a gray color that contrasts beautifully with the liveliness of the dial. The bezel frames have been treated with a directional polish, adding an extra touch of sophistication. The automatic winding rotor, with its galvanic ruthenium finish, blends perfectly with the case color. Finally, the transparent caseback reveals an engraving representing the emblematic image of the “Minions”.

This 99-piece limited series is one of the Manufacture’s most important recent releases, opening up new opportunities for collaboration with retail partners.
