Inspired by the timeless symbolism of the mask and the legend of the Man in the Iron Mask, this watch does not, however, seek to conceal. On the contrary, it reveals the full beauty of its mechanics by transforming the movement into a true design element.

Since the debut of the first Joker in 2017, Konstantin Chaykin has revolutionized the way time is displayed with an anthropomorphic face that has become a globally recognized signature. With the Joker Iron Mask, this identity evolves into a more technical and architectural interpretation, where the openwork dial reveals the very heart of the watch.

A face brought to life by mechanics

The Joker Iron Mask retains the iconic display conceived by Konstantin Chaykin. The two eyes indicate the hours and minutes, respectively, while the smiling mouth displays the day of the week.

But this time, the face no longer rests on a traditional dial. The entire structure is open, revealing the Joker module in every detail. The bridges become the character’s eyebrows; the support for the day indicator naturally forms its nose, enhanced by a central ruby; while wheels, springs, levers, and mechanical components create a living scene that constantly evolves in time with the watch.

Every visible element contributes as much to the timepiece’s aesthetics as to its function, offering a depth rarely seen in a watch of this category.

A monochromatic aesthetic inspired by antique watchmaking

The Joker Iron Mask stands out for its fully rhodium-plated finish, which gives it a understated, contemporary, and decidedly technical character.

The module’s bridges feature a grained finish achieved through microbeading, reminiscent of the traditional decorations found on 17th- and 18th-century pocket watches. This matte texture contrasts elegantly with the steel components, which have been meticulously satin-finished, beveled, and polished by hand.

A few touches of color add rhythm to this monochromatic composition: the blued steel circles forming the pupils, the red tip of the day indicator, and the central ruby lend depth and character to the overall design.

A movement developed around the famous Joker module

Beneath this expressive face beats the automatic caliber K.09-1, built around a Swiss La Joux-Perret G200 movement that has been extensively modified and paired with the Joker module—entirely developed and manufactured by Konstantin Chaykin.

Comprising 140 components, this module powers the signature Wristmons display while maintaining a comfortable 68-hour power reserve.

The transparent case back allows you to admire the openworked rotor signed by Konstantin Chaykin, as well as the movement’s exceptionally meticulous finishes.
