After exploring metallic hues and then smoky gradients, Kollokium unveils a fresh take on its most radical watch. With the Projekt 02 Variant C, the independent Swiss brand deliberately moves away from the dark tones that have defined its identity to embrace a luminous palette inspired by lagoons, glaciers, and topographical landscapes.

Produced in a limited run of just 299 pieces, this edition showcases one of the most complex dials in contemporary watchmaking thanks to a spectacular gradient of turquoise blue spread across nine distinct levels.

A three-dimensional dial unique in the watchmaking world

The signature of the Kollokium Projekt 02 lies in its impressive topographic dial. Composed of 67 individual elements assembled by hand, it creates a striking architectural relief that literally transforms the perception of time.

For this Variant C version, each level is given a specific shade ranging from luminous white to deep turquoise. The result evokes a hypsometric map where the highest peaks appear light while the depths are gradually adorned with more intense blues.

Each component is hand-painted using a mixture of lacquer and Super-LumiNova, a particularly demanding process that requires several hours of assembly for each dial.

Brutalist craftsmanship according to Kollokium

Behind its industrial and contemporary aesthetic, the Projekt 02 conceals a considerable amount of craftsmanship. The 67 plates that make up the dial are prepared, painted, and assembled individually before being layered with extreme precision.

This approach, which Kollokium calls “Brutalist Artisanship,” champions a form of imperfect perfection. Each watch thus features slight variations that reinforce its exclusive character and unique identity.

A monobloc case with radical architecture

The Projekt 02 Variant C retains the brand’s iconic case. Crafted from die-cast 316L stainless steel, it features a natural matte texture impossible to replicate using traditional machining methods.

With a diameter of 39.5 mm, a curved profile, and a large glass surface, the case fully showcases the depth of the dial. The absence of a visible bezel further reinforces this impression of a contemporary sculpture worn on the wrist.

The box-shaped sapphire crystal offers a panoramic view of the entire three-dimensional construction, the true aesthetic heart of this creation.

La Joux-Perret Swiss Automatic Movement

At the heart of the watch beats the La Joux-Perret G101 automatic caliber. Renowned for its robustness and reliability, it offers a comfortable power reserve of approximately 68 hours and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

This movement allows the Projekt 02 Variant C to combine experimental watchmaking architecture with performance perfectly suited for everyday use.
