Louis Erard has teamed up with Alain Silberstein once again for a new take on one of the brand’s signature models: Le Régulateur. This “Blue” edition, part of the Hall of Fame collection, translates the French designer’s instantly recognizable graphic style into a watch that is playful, architecturally designed, and exceptionally easy to read.
The blue sunburst dial serves as the backdrop for this composition, in which each display element has its own distinct identity. The regulator display separates the hours, minutes, and seconds to create an unconventional and highly graphic way of telling time. The geometric shapes and primary colors characteristic of Alain Silberstein bring the design to life: red for the hour hand, white for the minute hand, and yellow for the second hand.
The silver sub-dial at 12 o’clock contrasts with the deep blue of the dial, while the silver opaline minute track plays with blue and red hour markers. A deliberately expressive yet perfectly ordered design.
Titanium and Lightness
The 40-mm case combines two types of titanium and two finishes: microbeaded Grade 2 titanium and polished Grade 5 titanium. This interplay of materials and surfaces adds depth to the watch while preserving the inherent lightness of titanium.
The sapphire crystal features a double-sided anti-reflective coating, and the transparent case back offers a view of the automatic movement. Water resistance to 100 meters enhances the versatility of this timepiece, designed for everyday wear.
The blue heathered nylon strap echoes the dial’s color scheme and features a hook-and-loop closure combined with micro-blasted Grade 2 titanium elements.
