The Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein SMILE-DAY BLUE reimagines the three-hand watch with day and date, infusing it with an emotional depth rarely found in contemporary watchmaking. At first glance, the sunburst blue dial captures light with intensity and depth. A strong visual signature, it becomes the canvas for Alain Silberstein’s graphic language: simple shapes, primary colors, and immediate readability. The red triangular hour hand, the white arrow-shaped minute hand, and the yellow serpentine second hand combine to create a time display that is both intuitive and playful.

But the uniqueness of this watch lies above all in its day/date display at 6 o’clock. Here, time takes on a face. An evolving smiley accompanies the days of the week: discreet and dark from Monday to Friday, it turns red and more expressive on the weekend. A poetic, almost narrative complication that transforms the measurement of time into a living experience.

Behind this apparent lightness lies true horological excellence. Powered by a Sellita SW220-1 automatic movement, the SMILE-DAY BLUE offers reliability and precision, with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Its 40mm microblasted titanium case ensures lightness, comfort, and modernity, while the transparent case back reveals the movement in action.

Designed for everyday use, it features a soft, breathable blue marled nylon strap equipped with a Velcro closure system for an instant fit. A functional approach that reinforces its contemporary and accessible character.
